Techniques

The group makes use of five main experimental techniques:

Fibre-Optic Low Energy Electron Diffraction (FO-LEED)
Reflection Absorption Infra-Red Spectroscopy (RAIRS)
Single-Crystal Adsorption Calorimetry (SCAC)
Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy (STM)
Supersonic Molecular Beams (SMB)

In addition, we have a thriving programme of Density Functional Theory (DFT) work.
